    Pros +

    • The location and staff were excellent. The bed and shower/changing facilities were also excellent. Allowed to leave luggage at reception before check-in and after check-out was helpful.
    • Despite being a capsule hotel, we felt like we had MUCH more space here than we did at our other hotels during our stay! We really enjoyed the multi-sink toiletry area, the little lounge, and the free hot beverages. The bathroom amenities were also very appreciated (e.g., makeup remover, lotion, etc.). The location near Pontocho was also really neat.
    • The location was phenomenal, with easy access to important bus and train routes and in extremely easy walking distance of very good places to eat. The sleeping arrangements were also very comfortable for a capsule, there was enough room to kind of wiggle around some.

    Cons -

    • Limited communal space.
    • As with many capsule hotels, the locker area can get crowded if there are multiple guests trying to access their luggage all at once. My big suitcase fit inside the locker easily, but I would still recommend a smaller size of luggage for ease of maneuvering in the locker area.
    • The mattresses at this location were a little thin, causing an ache in my hip when I slept on my side. Further, the private room section of the deluxe capsule was barely wide enough for me to stand perpendicular to the walls.

Has a dedicated smoking area. Very close to multiple konbini, eateries, and train stations. The mattress is very comfy. The shower and washroom are nice and very clean. Lots of amenities like free drinking water, microwave, tootubrush, comb, hairbrush, shaver and others.

The lounge area is rather small. Only 2 seats.

Want sturdier slippers, the shower floor is weirdly noisy when the water falls on it, the shower is freezing cold, the women's lounge on the 1st floor or awkward to use if you aren't staying on that floor because you have to bring your slippers down to get in

Very good location. I'd say it's the biggest crossroad center in Kyoto - and still very quet place hided thom this center. Staff was very friendly and helpful. You can manage your bagadge with waredrobe wery well - what is good point for capsule hotel.

    The location is quite good.

    1. After checking out,you only can put your luggage by 4PM. After 4 PM, they will charge you ¥1000 per hour.2. The door makes noise once someone open the door. If your bed is near door, you may hear the noise all night.3. The staff only speak limited English (really limited),Don’t expect that they will provide information other than things regarding checking in and checking out.4. The air in the capsule is staffed and the pillow is hard. The staff of this hostel/ capsule hotel is the most unfriendly of those I have ever stayed. Although the location is good and the environment is clean, but you have better choices in Japan.

    Expensive booking prices

The price advertised in front of the building is around 15€/night. Yet they charged me 100 for just two nights on booking.

The nicest capsule hotel I’ve ever been in. Beautiful, modern facilities that are very clean, and has simple card interface to access your locker and room. In a great location right in the middle of the action.

Location is near to everything you need. They were easy to communicate with before I arrived and gave my requests.

I wasn't able to use the TV because I needed to go out near the reception to get the earphones. They should place 1 inside the capsule or the locker so it will be easier to get once you have changed into your sleepwear.

Great value for the money. Was in a nice central location. Staff was also very kind. Liked the beverage amenities in the ladies first floor lounge (once I found out about them). I stayed on the fourth floor and only just happened to hear on my last night that there was a ladies lounge with beverages on the first floor. I am also a very glad that I opted to get the Superior capsule room because I appreciated that extra little bit of space and privacy. I was happy that it actually had a door on it rather than just a curtain, so there was more privacy and less noise.

The pillows were quite hard. Also, the smoke from the smoking room was quite strong sometimes out in other areas of the first floor ladies area. It looks like there was a rooftop lounge to the building, but it was out of service. Would have been nice to have access to that because the daytime weather was very pleasant.

Budget friendly, near to subway and bus station. Close to shopping district and best tourist spots. The staff are very helpful and respectful.

Near to Pontocho alley, subway, buses and tourist destination.

Amazing value. I had the superior capsule room and it was clean, comfortable, quiet, and in the perfect location. Showers were clean, hot water plentiful, never crowded. I stayed 6 nights but could have easily stayed longer and been perfectly happy.

No complaints. This was as comfortable as a hotel room at a fraction of the price.

    9Vanessa R.Posted on: 11-4-2025

The location was great, and the price was very convenient for being right in the middle of Kyoto. The staff was very welcoming, and the place was clean.

The only thing I didn’t like about my stay was the fact that people were really loud in the sleeping area. I understand that noise is the nature of sharing common areas and staying at a hostel but in the sleeping area they were very loud even until 2-3 am making it really hard for people that like to start their travel adventures early in the morning.

    7AndrésPosted on: 10-11-2025

The hotel is very well located, withing a short walking distance from various metro and bus stations, the staff was very friendly and helpful. One downside was how clean the capsules can get, since they do cleaning every 3 days. My room had a sheet with a stain on it.

    Location is perfect

They charged me 1000 yen because I checked out at 10am30 rather than 10am. They warned that they charge late check out. But that's very abusive for 30minutes. ..

    2Alex S. T.Posted on: 9-5-2025

    Staff were friendly.

Rooms are hot, only charging port is usb, locker is so small, check in at 5pm, no toilet at lobby, water dispenser is sometimes faulty, no fridge, washing machine is terribly expensive - 700 Yen for washing.

Amazing amenities. Very quiet, private, and clean.

    Mattress was a little thin

Check-in ok even after midnight was very helpful for me since I had come by bike.

    Lockers were rather narrow.
